Michael Inglese is an accomplished senior executive with more than 30 years of success in public and private company settings in big-ticket commercial leasing, industrial and consumer business industries.  Since June 2017 he has served as Aircastle’s Chief Executive Officer and a Member of the Board, having served as Acting Chief Executive Officer from January 2017. He is a member fo the Board’s Invesment & Finance Committee and the Compensation Committee.

Under Michael’s leadership, in March of 2020, Aircastle, a major passenger aircraft leasing company, was taken private by Marubeni Corporation and Mizuho Leasing of Japan, in a transaction valued at $7.9 billion. He served as Aircastle’s Chief Financial Officer from April 2007 to January 2017. 

Prior to Aircastle, Mr. Inglese served as Chief Financial Officer of PanAmSat Holding Corporation from June 2000 and was instrumental in the $6.4 billion sale of PanAmSat to Intelsat in July 2006.  Mr. Inglese joined PanAmSat in May 1998 as Vice President, Finance after serving as Chief Financial Officer for DIRECTV Japan, Inc.  He is a Chartered Financial Analyst who holds a BS in Mechanical Engineering from Rutgers University College of Engineering and an MBA from Rutgers Graduate School of Business Management. Presently, he is a Certified Director and member of the National Association of Corporate Directors, the CFA Institute and the CFA Society New York.
